Resilient and Secure IoT for Health Workshop - Program

The First International Workshop on Resilient and Secure IoT for Health (IoT4Health)

Monday, 29 April, 2019 ● 8:30 – 12:30 ● Room: Forum F

The advent of Internet of Things (IoT) will radically transform our future interactions by creating new communication opportunities among people, devices and networks by integrating advanced smart technologies. IoT is envisioned to revolutionize numerous domains, such as healthcare industry, smart factories, smart cities, transportation and agriculture. In particular, IoT for healthcare ensures patient well-being and personalized care by providing many specialized and tailored solutions, ranging from smart wearable devices and sensors to healthcare network architectures, and secure sensitive medical data management. According to various market forecasts, the amount of medical Things is observing a continuous growth and is expected to reach 20-30 billion of devices by 2020.

The first edition of Resilient and Secure IoT for Health workshop aims at interdisciplinary exchanges and interactions by bringing together researchers, engineers and specialists within the domains of informatics, networking, medicine and electronics. The synergy of these various expertise will help identifying the actual needs, develop customized solutions and uncover new challenges and issues to be addressed.
