Guidelines for Final Paper Submission for Technical Papers in the Main Conference ONLY

Final Paper Submission to IEEE INFOCOM 2019

Final versions of accepted papers must be uploaded to EDAS for inclusion in the conference proceedings and to be submitted to IEEE Xplore®. The deadline is 5:00pm US ET, Friday, 18 January 2019.

IEEE/IEEE Communications Society/IEEE INFOCOM Policies

To ensure appropriate consideration of conflicts of interest during the review process, the ComSoc prohibits changes to the list of authors once a paper has been submitted for review during review, revision, or (if accepted) final publication. The author list may be changed only prior to the submission deadline.

To be published in the IEEE INFOCOM 2019 Conference Proceedings and to be eligible for publication in IEEE Xplore®, an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference at the full (member or non-member) rate and the paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the conference unless the TPC Chair grants permission for a substitute presenter arranged in advance of the event who is qualified both to present and answer questions.  Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the paper.  For authors with multiple accepted papers, one full registration is valid for up to 3 main conference papers.  Accepted and presented papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore®.

Revise your Paper

Please read the reviews of your paper and follow the reviewers' recommendations for revising it and preparing the final version. When you are done with the revision, please print out your paper and carefully proofread it. Review formatting requirements can be found at:

https://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html

IEEE PDF eXpress

Use IEEE PDF eXpress to check if your paper is Xplore compatible.

PDF eXpress instructions: The PDF eXpress website can be found at http://www.pdf-express.org, and the conference ID for INFOCOM 2019 is 40694X. The access for INFOCOM 2019 will be open by Jan 14, 2019.

Register for the Conference

The presenting author must register for the conference before submitting the final paper. Note that even if the presenter is a student, he/she must pay a Full Registration. For multiple paper presentations, one author registration is valid for up to 3 main conference papers. The paper must be presented by an author of the paper at the conference unless the TPC Chair grants permission for a substitute presenter arranged in advance of the event who is qualified both to present and answer questions   (See no-shows and substitute presenters policy below).

For conference registration, please go to the Registration page of the IEEE INFOCOM 2019 website http://infocom2019.ieee-infocom.org/registration and follow the instructions.   After completing your registration, you will receive an email with your paper upload number.  Write this number down; you will need to use it to upload your paper into EDAS.

The registration website will be open by Jan. 11, 2018.

Submit your Paper

Your final paper must be submitted no later than 5:00pm US ET, Friday, 18 January 2019  in order to be included in the conference proceedings. The maximum number of pages is nine (9).

To submit your Final paper, please go to EDAS, click on the “My Papers” button, and then upload your paper on the link provided. DO NOT go to Papers/Submit paper, since you will not find IEEE INFOCOM 2019 there.

If you experience any problems during the upload process of your paper on EDAS, please contact help@edas-help.com.

IEEE Copyright Form

Before you upload your camera-ready paper, you will need to submit your IEEE copyright form using the IEEE electronic copyright mechanism. Please follow the link provided on the paper submission page.

Policies on no-shows and substitute presenters

Each paper must be presented by an author of the paper in person at the conference. Presentations via teleconference (e.g., Skype) or pre-recorded tape are not permitted. Permission to have the paper presented by a substitute presenter may be granted by the TPC Chairs under certain extraordinary circumstances. Authors with travel contingencies should consider arranging a substitute presenter. A substitute presenter must be qualified to answer questions regarding the paper. A request of a substitute presenter must be sent to the TPC Chairs no later than 5:00pm US ET, Monday, April 22, 2019. The TPC Chairs may approve or deny the request by 5:00pm US ET Friday, April 26, 2019. A no-response by the TPC Chairs after this deadline shall be considered as denial.

A paper not presented or presented by a non-author without prior written approval by the TPC Chairs will be removed from the final conference proceedings before uploading to IEEE Xplore®. No refund will be made to authors of these papers.

Policy on registration transfers

All requests for registration transfers must be submitted via email to INFOCOMreg@ieee.org and received by Friday, Mar. 29, 2019. A $75 processing fee will be charged.
